We don't sell or ship our pups until they are 10-12 weeks old " No Exceptions"!! Hips and Hearts guaranteed. Parents have certifications Penn Hip, Xrays, OFA, Cystinuria Normal, Puppies all see a vet 2 times before going to there new homes, up to date and shots and wormings. Puppies are also Microchipped before going to their new homes. References available! Written Contract. We recommend using UShip for ground shipping. We raise our Newfoundland puppies in our family room. Mom gives birth in the family room, and the puppies are watched 24 hours a day for the first 4 weeks. After that time, when they grow out of their whelping box, they move to the room off of our kitchen, where they learn about potty training. When they are old enough to be vaccinated and vet-checked, they begin learning to come in and out of our home. We let the mother stay with her pups , and begin socializing the pups and getting them used to all kinds of sounds at a very early age, When the pups are more sure of themselves we begin letting the older newf's help puppy sit, even dad helps out ! At this point they are usually ready to meet their new families. We are responsible breeders and the welfare of our puppies is the most important thing to us. We want the kind of homes where our puppies will receive the same love and care that we give to all of our Newfoundlands. There is so much information out there on the Newfoundland breed, so please take the time to do your research on the breed before making a commitment to purchase one of our puppies. Newfoundlands require a lot of grooming and attention - and, yes, they drool! We are here to answer your questions! Just email and we will be happy to help you in any way that we can. We sincerely hope that all of our puppy placements are permanent, but Snowymeadow Newfoundlands will always welcome any of our puppies back to our kennel if their new owners are unable to keep them for any reason. Our puppies must never end up in a shelter or rescue ! |
